Christina has been a practicing occupational therapist for over a decade. As a child, Christina knew she belonged in the helping professions. She had a strong love for horses and working with children and decided to pursue a career that could combine those two things. Christina later decided to pursue a more comprehensive background in psychology and neuroscience which has provided a solid foundation for her current work as an occupational therapist, specializing in mental health and behavior.

Christina has worked in the outpatient setting in both pediatrics and rehabilitation as well as working in public education for the past 9 years. She holds certification in several areas including Therapeutic Listening, Trauma treatment and Mental Health and Integrative Medicine. 

Christina is dedicated to utilizing a full circle therapy approach which includes consultation with medical and school providers, parent empowerment and education as well as a variety of intervention models.

At Integrative Wellness Solutions, we believe that an effective treatment plan should have all the right ingredients. Because of this belief, additional skilled services may be recommended by your treating therapist. Below are a few examples of additional providers that may be recommended to add their expertise to a clients comprehensive treatment plan. 

Speech language pathologist

Speech therapists may be recommended if the client has difficulty processing language, or shows signs of receptive/ expressive language deficits.

licenced mental health counselors

As part of the continuum of care, psychologists, counselors and other mental health professionals may be recommended for clients. If our clients are currently working with a mental health professional, they are encouraged and welcome to use the facilities at Integrative Wellness Solutions.
